What causes ear infections?

Most ear infections are caused by colds. Complications from ear infections are very dangerous, so when an earache arises it can be toned immediately with essential oils to relieve the pain and fight the infection.

But if the condition does not resolve within 24 hours, seek immediate medical attention.

Which essential oil suitable for ear infections?

Essential oils suitable for ear infections: permanent flower, eucalyptus, frankincense, basil, lavender, tea tree, purifying and refreshing compound, juniper berries, Roman chamomile, etc.; for children, please use Roman chamomile, but remember to use coconut oil to dilute.

How to use essential oil for ear infections?

At the cochlea, use 1 to 2 drops of Purifying Fresh Compound (you can also choose the above mentioned essential oils that you have on hand) essential oil on a medicated cotton ball and carefully place it at the outer opening of the ear canal (i.e. at the cochlea, do not push deep into the canal), if you feel irritation, add a few drops of coconut oil to dilute it.

This is to take advantage of the natural volatile properties of the oil and spread it to the area of the ear infections. The cotton balls can be changed at intervals of 3 to 4 hours, and overnight after replacing them at bedtime.

Or you can, around the ear, use 2 to 5 drops of coconut oil as a base, then 1 to 2 drops of the above-mentioned essential oils, apply around the ear, and massage gently until absorbed, especially around the mastoid bone behind the ear.

The essential oils are very permeable and even when applied around the ear, a portion of the oil will work its way to the inner ear. Apply at intervals of 3 to 4 hours.
